You have quite a lot of money to spend. You can pretty much buy any racquet with that. However, if you are a begginner you should stick with a racquet under 50 dollars or so at a local store.
However, if you are decent at tennis here are some suggestions:
Babolat Pure Drive GT
Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex
Dunlop Aerogel 4D 300 (3Hundred) Tour
Head Microgel Prestige
Wilson K Factor KSix-One Tour 90
Check out some more at

Wilson K Factor KBlade 98

Personally, I like Prince raquets they are really durable and they work in my opinion better then others.
O3 Speedport Tour is really nice, really good since you can swing really fast, and with spin you can get it in easily, if you have played tennis, and have a lot of spin, this is really good, since it lets you swing really fast which means more power/with your spin -Bit expensive at 200

Hybrid Hornet-
My racquet really works well for me, it has a nice feel, you can hit pretty hard with it, gives good spin, really good for volleying, and on serves it is godlike. I am short (under 5 foot) and this raquet has helped me hit 100ish, on serves
Pretty cheap at 99$

For power racquets, Babolot is pretty good

Wilson isnt great, but they have good spin raquets, and a bit more control

Head is good, but not durable, my friend has broken his head raquet in a week, and his second one in a month.

Painting the strings with ordinary spray paint damages the strings. Paints contain chemicals that make the strings break easily. It would be really cool to get your own insignia on the strings. Use stencil ink that is meant to be used on strings. They only cost about 5 bucks in sporting good stores. Have fun!

i think you might want to understand first that there is no such thing as a racquet that gives you power. if there is any, other racquet would be out of the market because every racquet does NOT give you power. there can only be racquet with which your current power and swing style fell into the right combination and results in a nice and smooth parabolic curve from your court to your opponent's.

the trick is to find the right combination.

your power and swing style are two factors that can be varied quite flexibly. the racquet on the other hand, while it can be modified (like adding lead tape to increase weight) it is not that flexible (i.e., you cannot reduce the base weight of a racquet).

so i'd suggest you stay with the Youtek Radical MP (like i did) and develop some muscle and shape your swing. perhaps you might also want to seek help from a local pro to review on your swing style or even better to give some training.

hope this helps :)

ps: for bad days i'd keep my Youtek Radical Lite handy :)

y do u need to change? if u play well with ur pure storm y not buy the gt version or get a new pure storm because they r now pretty cheap. but if u buy a wilson i suggest buy a k factor because they r cheaper than the BLX versions. mayb a k factor k blade 98, but ur best bet is to demo the racquet

According to Tennis.com, the racquet is considered a tweener, in between intermediate and advanced skill level.

Google lists the racquet new around $100. $60 might be fair, depending on how old it is, and the condition it is in.

go for the Wilson titanium 3 model its yellow and black most likely sold at your Walmart super-centerer, their lightweight and have a good sized sweet spot but if your hands are small you might have to try a junior raquet. the head size is i think 140cm length is around 260cm and the make is a reinforced throat, titanium with volcanic glass

Wilson ntour, Wilson ntour and Wilson ntour.

As for the Nfury, it's huge and it's quite heavy. I play with the kfactors now, but i've played with the nfury and the ntour in the past. I gave up on the nfury cause it wasn't much help to me, unlike the ntour, it really gives you stability and control, making it much more easier to improve your game.

And with dunlop...don't even think about it.
